Fulham striker David Elm is remaining positive for the second half of the season, despite limited opportunities so far.
The 26-year-old Swede joined the Cottagers in the summer from Kalmar for an undisclosed fee, penning a one-year deal with Roy Hodgson's side.
But he has made just one appearance in the Carling Cup against Manchester City back in September, leading to speculation that he could be on his way out of Craven Cottage in the January transfer window.
But Elm is guaranteed to stay until the end of the season and the striker now hopes he will get more opportunities.
Elm told his former club Kalmar's official website: "Of course, I believe that I am going to play.
"I have to believe in playing and Fulham know that it takes some time in adjusting."
Despite a lack of playing time, Elm says he is learning all the time, both on and off the pitch.
He added: "I don't need to be in the process of creating the attacks in the same way (as at Kalmar), but just concentrate on being in the box.
"There is a lot of focus on being better at finishing, finding ways to run and create chances.
"I feel that I am constantly evolving and finding new things to do on the pitch.
"I am also growing on a social level just by living here and meeting new people which is educational in that way."
