Fulham have released just one member of their first team squad, US goalkeeper
Marcus Hahnemann who's contract expired on 30th June.
The 30-year-old has found it tough at Craven Cottage with a lack of first-team
opportunities giving him little chance to show his talents.
And Fulham have decided not to offer him a new contract after his current
deal expired.
Hahnemann, who has gained three caps for his country, is keen to
stay in England and enjoyed a successful loan spell at Rochdale last season
with the Third Division outfit keen to have him on a permanent basis.
First Division new boys Reading also took him on loan and after their
promotion, they could offer Hahnemann - who former Fulham Manager Paul Bracewell paid $150,000 to Colorado Rapids
for in June 1999. - the chance to play at a higher
level.
The Club has offered Marcus it's thanks for his services and have wish the
player and his family all the very best for the future.
