Referee Tim Robinson, an ex-PE teacher, has been a qualified referee for 21 years and has progressed through the Sussex leagues, before moving on to the different national leagues, National League and then Football League.
He was appointed to the EFL referees list for the start of the 2012/13 season. In 2016 Ref Robinson was selected as one of the Referee Select Group 2 who are employed on a full time basis.
The last time Mr Robinson bossed a Fulham game was just over a month ago in March 2022 when we drew 1-1 away at Barnsley. Mr Robinson awarded a controversial penalty For Barnsley and booked seven players, three from Fulham, Tosin Adarabioyo (43,f), Tim Ream (66,f) and Antonee Robinson (70,f). Harry Wilson was the Fulham goal scorer.
back in January 21-22 when Fulham beat Bristol City 6-2. Mr Robinson booked two players both from Bristol City. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a first half hat trick while Neeskens Kebano scored two and Fabio Carvalho.
Just six weeks previously, in December 2021, Mr Robinson bossed Fulham when we drew 1-1 at home to Bournemouth. Mr Robinson booked three Fulham players, Fabio Carvalho for not retresting, Joe Bryan for a foul and Bobby De Cordova-Reid for throwing the ball at the opposing goalie, he also booked six Bournemouth players. Tosin Adarabioyo scored Fulham's goal in the 84th minute.
In October 2021 Mr Robinson refed Fulham when we beat Cardiff 2-0 at The Cottage, he booked three players all from the Cardiff team. Fulham's goal scorers were Tom Cairney, returning after a 10 month absence, and Aleksandar Mitrovic, his 13th goal of the season.
Just a month prior to the Cardiff game Mr Robinson also bossed Fulham in the League Cup game against Leeds United. He booked one player who was from the Leeds team.
Mr Robinson also refed our 2-0 home win over Hull City a month earlier in August 2021. He booked Antonee Robinson (61,foul), Ivan Cavaleiro (78,arguing), Tosin Adarabioyo (81,arguing) and two Hull players. Fulham goals were scored by Aleksandar Mitrovic and Fabio Carvalho.
In promotion year 2019/2020 Mr Robinson refed three Fulham games as follows
Our 1-0 home win over Swansea City booking four players all from Swansea, in February 2020. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the only goal in the 94th minute keeping us in the hunt for a playoff place.
Earlier in the season he bossed our 2-1 win over Leeds United in December 2019. He blew up 30 times booking seven players, three from Fulham, Harrison Reed (29,f), Joe Bryan (45+3,arg) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (89,arg).
Prior to the Leeds game Mr Robinson also refed the 1-1 away draw at Cardiff in Aguust 2019. He blew up for 16 Cardiff fouls and 8 Fulham fouls booking one cardiff player and four Fulham players, Harry Arter (66,f), Marcus Bettinelli (72,d), Alfie Mawson (85,d) and Tom Cairney (89,tw). Mr Robinson also gave Harry Arter a second yellow in the 68th minute.
In the promotion season 2017/18 he refed three victories one of which was the 2-0 home win over Nottingham Forest! in February 2018. He booked Kevin McDonald for a foul in the 73rd minute and also two Forest players, both for fouls.
Prior to Forest Mr Robinson oversaw our 6-0 crushing of Burton Albion He booked two Burton players and whistled for four fouls, all against Burton players.
In that season Ref Robinson also bossed our 2-1 home win over Hull City in September and he kept his cards in his pocket despite a total of 23 fouls, 15 of them by Hull City players.
In season 2016/2017 Ref Robinson bossed four Fulham games which resulted in three away wins and a 1-1 home draw with Burton Albion.
Luton Town last had the pleasure of Mr Robinson's company in January 2022 when they won 2-0 away at Reading, he booked two players both from the Reading squad.
Last season, 20/21, Ref Robinson refed 40 games dishing out 123 yellows, an above average 4.2 cards a game, and 5 reds. This season so far he has refed 35 games and dished out 148 yellows, so an above average of 4.2 yellows per game, and 6 reds.
Mr Robinson's busiest outing in recent times was the Blackpool v Preston game when he booked four Blackpool players and five Preston players, following up with a second yellow for one of the Preston players in the 90th minute.
