Referee Graham Scott, the Oxfordshire-born referee, played as goalie for Abingdon Town before injury ended his career. He then switched to refereeing in 1997.
In the 2008/09 season he was promoted to the National List of referees and ahead of the 2015/16 Premier League season, Scott was promoted into the Select Group of referees and officiates in the Premier League.
The last time Ref Scott refed Fulham was in our 1-1 home draw with AFC Bournemouth last season in April 2022. Both managers were left unhappy with refereeing decisions while Ref Scott had fun yellow carding seven Fulham players and three Bournemouth plsyers
His previous involvement with Fulham was the 1-1 away draw with Newcastle in the Premiership in December 2020.He yellow carded four players, three of them from Fulham, Joachim Andersen, Antonee Robinson and Michael Hector. Mr Scott then sent off Joachim Andersen in the 63rd minute for a last man foul.
Mr Scott also refed Fulham earlier in the season, in October 2020, when we lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace. He booked one Palace player and sent off Fulham subsitute Aboubakar Kamara in the 88th minute, some twenty minutes after coming on, for a bad foul.
Mr Scott's previous vist was in March 2019 when we played Chelsea at The Cottage. He booked three players including Calum Chambers and Kevin McDonald, both for fouls. Calum Chambers was our goal scorer.
Ref Scott also refed Fulham earlier in that season in the New Years game against Arsenal when he booked Timothy Fosu-Mensah (77,f). Aboubakar Kamara scored our goal in the 69th minute.
AFC Bournemouth last had the pleasure of Mr Scott's presence in April of last season when they drew 1-1 at home to Fulham.
Last season he officiated at 23 matches issuing 79 yellow cards, an average 3.4 yellows per game, and 4 reds.
His busiest game in recent times was a League Two game betweemn Colchester and Bristol Rovers when he yellow carded four Colchester players and two Bristol Rovers players, following up with sending off two Colchester players and one Bristol Rovers player.
