Millwall Football Club confirm the loan signing of Steven Benda from Fulham.
The German Goalkeeper joins up with Alex Neil's side on a loan deal that will see him remain at The Den until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper, originally from Stuttgart, moved to the UK in August 2017, at the age of 19, to start his professional football career with Swansea, signing from TSV 1890 Munich.
Steven made 36 Championship appearances for The Swans, keeping eight clean-sheets in that time, alongside two loan spells, to Swindon Town and Peterborough United before moving to Fulham ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Benda becomes the fifth summer signing for Alex Neil's side, and joins up with new goalkeeper coach Dean Thornton, whom he has previously worked with at Swansea, as he looks to provide healthy competition to Lucas Jensen, Max Crocombe and George Evans for a spot between the sticks.
Upon Benda signing his deal, Millwall's Director of Football, Steve Gallen, said, "I am very pleased to bring Steven to the club. We've been working on this loan deal for a few weeks, and we were very keen on getting it completed.
Gallen added, "Steven was one of several options that we were looking to bring in to provide competition to Max Crocombe and George Evans, and I'm glad we have, as he is a great goalkeeper."
