Marco got it spot on last week against Southampton but not today. Smith Rowe i thought deserved a start from his excellent form coming on and scoring a goal last week and i think a combination of the excellent Sessegnon would have been a better balance, Marco should not have subbed Sess who took his goal well but a flicker of a hand-ball ruled it out. Jimenez never looked like scoring and i think Vinicius should have debuted. Football is all about feelings and risk and Vinicious will be leaving so the odds and risk in playing him was a better bet than Jimenez who knows it is a given that he would play because of injury to Muniz. Jimenez is not hungry enough at this stage of the season and Vinicious was worth the risk before his departure. Wilson i think is a decent sub these days and he is at his best coming on as a sub and this is the problem. We have too many players that don't bring their A game they don't turn up for one reason or the other and we don't click into a rhythm. The Tielemans set piece goal was avoidable and he should have been covered running in from that angle. We blocked off Watkins to a degree and he was quiet but still had half chances. McGinn got the better of us and got into our heads and we have nobody of that calibre and
experience. Berge was to clumsy and Tete had a frustrating game and along with the unnecessary yellows this was a bad game for us. Bassey was testing the refs patience and this summed up our afternoon. Too many players on yellow cards in a game creates nervousness and paranoia and maybe this is the reason why Marco completely messed up his subbing today and to cap it all, H Reed went off with an injury forcing us to play the last ten minutes with ten men. I don't care if Jimenez is top scorer with 10-12 goals,
Jimenez has produced two bad games and he should be dropped for the next. Vinny is not playing so give attention first to whoever is on the pitch and performing. And sadly the performance is woeful and lacking in players that know they are first pick every week...

ESR is dreadful. He doesn't deserve another start or run on this season.

Wrong combination to put on Smith Rowe in this game. I think we should give Leno a mention because he was outstanding and rightly so our skipper. A top performance from the best German goalkeeper out there and he should make the German squad in my opinion, top man...

A turgid IDGAF attitude from almost the whole team. It needs to be a busy close season in terms of ins and outs. I would get rid of Robinson, Willian, Andersen, Pereira, Wilson, Raul, Vinicius, Reed & ESR for starters. No, I don't have any idea who to bring in, I don't play Football Manager but I suspect we will lose the manager instead and much of the squad will remain the same.

Wrong about Jimenez not hungry. He had no service at all but he ran his socks off and chased every ball in villa half. If Marco had started Vinnie, we lost like we did. Your tone about Jimenez and Vinnie would be very different. I don’t think we should have started Wilson who didn’t look sharp or 100% fit and whatever score, making 5 subs by 75mins is very high risk. I think Marco lost in tactics again today, which is worrying as it has happened a few times recently.

Give Jimenez a new contract... still a decent player. Looks to me that we have overpaid on Smith Rowe!

All you Fulham supporters that keep running down ESR, make me sick. He is a very talented lad who is being underrated at the moment, and we will see a far better player next season, when he has really settled in. Most of us, couldn't wait to get shot of Muniz, saying how useless he was, and now we are getting to the stage, like yesterday, that they are saying we missed Muniz terribly. Talk about fickle fans, Every club has them, and we have more than our fair share. Why don't you get behind our team instead of knocking them as soon as we lose a match. Last Week when we beat Southampton, we were going to storm Europe, and this weekend we unluckily lose to Villa, we are playing above on occasions, with some really good wins, but then again, we have let ourselves down against teams that we should have beaten easily. This has been a live and learn season, and I will expect to see a big improvement next season.

Very disappointing result yesterday Villa are a very good side and apart from Sess unfortunate handball we never really looked like scoring, not sure why so many people coming on here with so many negative comments still could be a record breaking points tally no sign of a relegation fight and Marco has the opportunity to watch them train so happy to go with he’s line up choice, unfortunate with Reed injury don’t think Vinnicious could offer us anything COYW

Chief, you are quite not getting it are you, record points in a really poor league, just look at the points we have carelessly thrown away, look at teams like Forest, Brentford and Bournemouth that we should be well clear of. And, Crystal Palace at the cup final, that should have been us if we had a better manager who could make better decisions at crucial points in a match. He dithers and reacts rather than being proactive, he is a Southgate.

Raul isn’t the 9 we need. Doesn’t bully the central defenders and doesn’t seem to get into the scoring positions. This is the one position we’ve been lacking this season and it’s cost us dearly. Unfortunately I feel Marco will be off if he gets a decent offer. He hasn’t really had the support from the Khans he needs to take us to the next level.
However fortunate for us if we avoid the conference European slot next year. Serves no purpose.

Dellers you may have a point about Marco leaving, but at present I don't think, and I hope that I am right, in my thinking, it is not on his agenda. As far as I can make out, he has settled here, and that he is slowly building a challenging side, and he really wants to put down his marker with us. This wholly depends of course, that the Khans will back him to the hilt, which hopefully they will. By the way, according to the press this morning, Manchester City, are wanting to spend over 300 million on new players. Am I wrong in thinking that they already have financial restrictions, and may have points deducted soon ?

Reporter what don’t I get? We beat Liverpool (only lost 2 games so far) will probably miss out on European football which I for one are not bothered the premi league is the best and most competitive in the world and we’re gonna finish in the top half,I attend most home matches and a few away and I really believe the standard and athleticism of the players gets better every year.
Silva been with us 4 years now and the current squad is as good as any I’ve seen in my lifetime.
