Weekend Scores and Stats

last updated Saturday 23rd December 2000, 6:15 PM

Fulham Football Club are the top club in the Nationwide league.

Although Crewe went one up in the 19th minute Fulham fought back, as they have in other matches, and ground out a 2-1 victory. So we are still unbeaten away from home this season and looking like Champions more and more each game.

The Fulhamweb prediction for this match was 0-4 to the Cottagers with a crowd of 7625. After the event it seems a trifle over optimistic but we will get some points for a win at least. How did you do?

Have a great Christmas, enjoy the memories of the first half of the season, and see you back for Boxing day. If anything comes up in the mean time Fulhamweb will keep you up to date.

Say ... We are top of Division One after a third of the campaign, have lost only one game, have the best goal difference in British football and have the leading scorer in the Premier and Nationwide leagues.

Crystal Palace (0) 2 Blackburn (3) 3

Blackburn strengthened their own promotion claims and brought Crystal Palace crashing down to earth on Friday night with a 3-2 win at Selhurst Park. Palace went into the game on a 12-game unbeaten run but Alan Smith's Eagles were left rueing a poor first-half performance.
