PRESTON'S pre-season punch-up has cost them the chance of signing Fulham midfielder Wayne Collins.

The 32-year-old linked up with North End on their disastrous pre-season tour, which ended in a bar-room brawl.

Collins, who arrived back on Sunday, immediately contacted former club Crewe and asked boss Dario Gradi about a move back to Gresty Road.
