Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd is likely to name an unchanged team for the home match against Fulham on Monday.
Despite a poor first-half performance, the Hornets finished strongly to draw 1-1 at Wigan last weekend, and Boothroyd is likely to keep faith with the players who began that game.
That would mean defender Lloyd Doyley and forward Darius Henderson again having to settle for a place on the bench as Boothroyd's men chase their first win of the campaign.
Defenders Clarke Carlisle (chest infection) and Chris Powell (calf) remain sidelined.
Meanwhile, Papa Bouba Diop and Carlos Bocanegra will be available for the trip to Watford.
Diop (thigh) and Bocanegra (groin) played the 2-0 defeat by Chelsea with injuries but are fully fit for the Hornets clash.
Luis Boa Morte (cheekbone), Jimmy Bullard (knee), Ahmad Elrich (knee), Simon Elliott (calf), Philippe Christanval and Mark Pembridge (calf) are out.
