Fulham striker Paul Peschisolido is set to move to Sheffield United on loan.
Canadian international Peschisolido was at United on Tuesday for talks
and Blades manager Neil Warnock is confident that he can tie up a deal before
Saturday's trip to West Bromwich Albion - ironically one of Peschisolido's former
clubs.

Warnock commented: "We've been after a couple of strikers and we've taken Paul
on for a couple of months and it just gives us another string to our bow. I know
what he can do and he gives us a little bit extra." "We have agreed everything
with Fulham and hopefully we will complete the deal before the weekend.
We thought it was worth gambling to bring Paul in, and I'm still looking for a
tall striker. I asked if I could take a player on loan until the end of the season
from last week's trip into Europe. We will have to see what happens and I also
want to get a couple of trialists in," added Warnock.
Peschisolido, 29, signed for Birmingham City from Toronto Blizzards in 1992 and
enjoyed spells with Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion before arriving at Fulham
for over £1m in 1997. Numerous changes at Craven Cottage have restricted his appearances
and earlier this season spent a loan spell at Queen's Park Rangers.
Warnock added: "Paul hasn't been able to go forward because of the formidable
quality of the strikers at Fulham. He's been treading water for the past couple
of months and we need extra bodies here. "Paul is a bubbly character and hopefully
his enthusiasm will rub off. We have the chance to change systems with him around
and he already knows a few of the lads, which will help him settle down."
