Warner deal to be made permanent

Fulham are ready to turn Cardiff City goalkeeper Tony Warner's loan spell into a permanent move.

Warner, 31, arrived at Craven Cottage in August on a six-month deal after fellow keepers Mark Crossley and Jaroslav Drobny picked up injuries.

Now Fulham boss Chris Coleman is set to finalise a £100,000 transfer, which should go through later this week.

Warner, a former Liverpool and Millwall player, is expected to sign a deal that will run until the end of next season.

"Nothing has been completed yet, but we'd be delighted for Tony to sign for Fulham," said Bluebirds manager Dave Jones.
