Hamburg striker Ruud van Nistelrooy |

Hamburg have been boosted ahead of the Europa League semi-final second leg against Fulham on Thursday with the news that Ruud van Nistelrooy will be available.
The veteran Dutch striker had been suffering from a hip complaint and although he played 90 minutes of the first game against Fulham he missed the 5-1 defeat to Hoffenheim on Sunday completely.
Van Nistelrooy trained with his Hamburg team mates today and is expected to start the second leg against Fulham which will be interim coach Rocardo Moniz's first game in charge.
Since joining Hamburg in the January transfer window, Ruud van Nistelrooy has scored five goals in 15 appearances.
Moniz is also expected to have Ze Roberto and Guy Demel available after calf and knee injuries respectively.
Fulham host the German Bundesliga side after a 0-0 draw in the first leg, in what is probably the Cottagers most important game ever.
