Fulham Keeper Edwin van der Sar has admitted that
he is ready to move on from Fulham in the
summer.
The keeper missed a large chunk of last term, but was
available for the final weeks of the season after
shaking off the ankle problem he picked up in December.
Despite Holland coach Dick Advocaat recalling the
former Juventus man to the Oranje squad,
Fulham boss Chris Coleman opted for continuity by
keeping faith with Maik Taylor.

Van der Sar performed superbly during the 1-1 draw
with Portugal, and his desire to play for his country
could well be the reason why he is considering
moving on.
Holland failed to reach last summer`s World Cup
finals, so time is running out for van der Sar to win
awards with his country.
His best chance could come at Euro 2004, but his
position as Holland`s number one would be placed in
jeopardy by not playing regular first-team football.
With doubts over his position as Fulham number one
clearly on his mind, van der Sar said: "I would gladly
look to play at higher level.
"The price Fulham will ask for me is not excessively
high.
"As the market is at the moment, you cannot afford to
be choosy and say 'I only want to play in England'.
"Nowadays you have to be happy if there is interest
from any club.
"There is nothing concrete yet, the market in Europe
is static at the moment."
Fulham`s failure to join The Premiership`s elite has
clearly left van der Sar contemplating his future.
"It has not ended up great," he told De Telegraaf.
"The previous season was dramatic. But it was clear very
quickly that we would not be challenging.
"At a certain point, you realise that it would be
nice to win something again."
A desire for trophies on the international front
could also be on van der Sar`s mind, and with Sander
Westerveld performing so well for Real Sociedad, he may
well need regular football to secure the number one
jersey for Holland.
