Reports in Spain are linking Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday with Segunda Liga strikers Jaime Mata and Sergi Guardiola.
According to Pucel Fichajes, Fulham, Wednesday, Norwich City and Bournemouth have followed Mata throughout the campaign, and been to watch him in action for Real Valladolid.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the campaign, however, the report states that offers, which could exceed €10 million (£8,860,000), may arrive in the coming days.
Mata has scored 18 goals in 21 second tier matches this season, which is six more than Guardiola, who is the league's second top scorer.
And according to Diario Cordoba, Fulham and Wednesday have been tracking him too.
The report adds that the pair's interest has led to a 'first economic approach' being made through intermediaries.
And it is claimed that a firm offer between €4-and-€5 million (£3.5-and-£4.4 million) could be enough to land Guardiola, who is three years younger than Mata and has two more to run on his Cordoba contract.
Fulham are believed to be in the market for striking reinforcements this winter, having been linked with a move for Bournemouth's Lewis Grabban this week.
And while Sheffield Wednesday are not short of numbers in attack, they are currently without Gary Hooper, Steven Fletcher and Fernando Forestieri through injury, while Sam Winnall is on loan to Derby County.
