Fulham are in advanced talks to sign Brighton defensive midfielder Rohan Ince on loan for the rest of the season, according to reports.
Earlier this week we reported that Sheffield Wednesday were also in the race to sign the 23-year-old, but it looks like Fulham are set to win the battle to sign him as they are now in advanced talks with the player.
Ince has struggled to hold down a place in Chris Hughton's starting line up this season, making only 12 appearances for the Seagulls this campaign.
The Cottagers are looking to strike up a loan deal for the versatile midfielder as they are currently under a transfer embargo so can therefore not make permanent signings.
Ince, who is the nephew of the famous Paul Ince, joined the Chelsea Academy at the young age of 7 and signed a professional contract with the Blues in 2010.
After failing to make a single appearances for the Premier League side he was transferred to Brighton in 2013, where he joined the development squad.
He broke into the starting XI under Oscar Garcia's reign when the South Coast side sneaked into the play-offs.
However this season he has been limited to only 15 appearances for the Seagulls, so Hughton is willing to loan him out so that he can get some regular game time under his belt.
Fulham have endured another frustrating season in the Championship as they currently sit in 19th place just three points off the relegation places. They next face promotion contenders Derby County on Saturday 6th February at Craven Cottage.
