Fulham have been chasing Shakhtar Donetsk’s Kevin this summer and have already seen a €30m bid rejected.
At the weekend, AS reported Marco Silva’s side have agreed personal terms with the 22-year-old and have decided to go all out to sign him. They also indicated his sale could be closed for €40-45m, after the Ukrainian club initially requested €50m.
Fulham have made an improved offer of €45m if a report from Ukraine’s Sport Arena is to be believed.
It’s claimed Shakhtar Donetsk have turned down the Premier League club’s second offer and want €50m to sanction the winger’s sale in this window.
Despite seeing their bids get rejected, Fulham maintain an interest in Kevin and have already agreed personal terms on a contract until 2030.
The report explains the London club will have a new meeting with the Brazilian’s agent this week to try to unblock the deal.
Fulham may be using the representative to convince Shakhtar Donetsk to lower the price, considering they have an agreement in place with Kevin.
The distance between the two clubs isn’t huge and it’s possible for them to find middle ground so that Kevin can join Marco Silva’s side.
