Fulham are in advanced talks about signing former Wolves and Barcelona winger Adama Traore as a free agent, according to a new report.
Traore was on the books at the West Midlands club between 2018 and 2023, making over 200 appearances, but left this summer at the end of his contract.
Now unattached to any team, the 27-year-old Spaniard is reportedly thought to be close to coming to another Premier League side.
The Athletic report that Fulham are close to signing Traore, and the deal is thought to be at at an advanced stage, with the start of the new season looming.
Fulham are looking for new wide players after losing Neeskens Kebano to Al Jazira and Manor Solomon to Tottenham, while Dan James returned to Leeds at the expiration of his loan deal.
The Cottagers signed Traore’s former Wolves team-mate Raul Jiminez for a £5m fee in their first acquisition of the off-season, following it up with a deal for Ajax's Calvin Bassey which set them back £19m.
Traore was previously a player at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, as well as spending half-a-season on loan at Barcelona in 2022.
