Fulham have emerged as contenders to potentially take Fiorentina striker Moise Kean back to the Premier League. In the January transfer window, Sport Witness also covered Aston Villa’s interest in the Italian striker.
Kean has clearly risen above his failures at Everton. He scored 19 times in Serie A last season and became an important part of the Italian national team again. He started the current campaign slow but has recovered to score eight times in the league.
The 25-year-old scored once in each of the last three games too, playing a role in dragging Fiorentina out of the relegation zone.
His impressive performances are now attracting attention from the Italian press again. Fulham are mentioned as a suitor, with other clubs also in the race.

Today’s Gazzetta dello Sport looks at the striker’s situation in detail.
Fulham had ‘expressed interest’ in January. Al-Hilal were also interested and so were Paris FC. The player wasn’t keen on an exit at that point but things can now change in the summer.
The Italy international has a release clause worth €62m, which has risen by €10m since the summer. It will be applicable between 1st July and 15th July this year. There is talk of interest from AC Milan but Italian clubs are unlikely to pay that much.
This can hand an opportunity to clubs like Fulham, who would find it a little easier to meet the valuation. Kean had rejected a chance to join Al-Qadsiah last summer and it can indicate a desire to stay in Europe.
Gazzetta are confident multiple non-Italian clubs will be keen on paying Kean’s release clause. He currently earns €4m per season only, which would be very affordable for the likes of Fulham, Al-Hilal and other European clubs.
All of it can hinge on whether the player really wants to move or not. Fabio Paratici’s arrival at Fiorentina can influence his decision, with La Viola trying to engineer a shiny new project under the Italian. Those plans can really take off next season onwards, if Kean’s side stay in Serie A.
The ex-Toffee might be more ready for the Premier League than he was earlier in his career. He has turned into a striker who has grown physically and thrives on making constant runs in-behind.
