Fulham are interested in signing Huddersfield forward Karlan Grant this summer.
Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are also interested in the 22-year-old, who scored four Premier League goals last season before Huddersfield’s relegation and has netted 16 times this term.
Brentford, then managed by Villa boss Dean Smith, wanted to sign Grant in January 2019, when he was at Charlton.
Grant can play anywhere across the front and has been impressing in wide-left position for the Terriers this term as they battle to avoid the drop into League One.
Greenwich-born Grant is a product of Charlton's academy and he went on to score 30 goals for the South London club. He has also played for England at youth level.
In the end he was snapped up by Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee. Grant is under contract at the Yorkshire club until 2022.
Now Fulham are looking to bring Londoner Grant back to the capital when the transfer window reopens – regardless of which division the club are in.
