Fulham and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Manchester City talent Oscar Bobb should he be allowed to leave in January, talkSPORT understands.
However, the Premier League duo will have to battle with clubs outside of England for Bobb's signature, one of which is understood to be Sevilla.
A move away from the Etihad for Bobb is only expected should City complete the signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.
talkSPORT understands Semenyo favours a move to City, who has a release clause between £60-65million.
It is also understood the release clause must be triggered in the first ten days of the January transfer window.
Bobb could be allowed to leave City on loan or permanently.
Should it be the latter, it would bring an end to the Norwegian's six-year stay in Manchester having arrived in July 2019 from Valerenga.
The 22-year-old forward made his first team debut for City in September 2023 and has made 47 appearances in total for the English heavyweights.
Bobb and City had hoped the appearance figure would have been much higher, but an unfortunate injury on the eve of the 2024/25 campaign ruined those plans.
The Norway international sustained a fractured leg and did not return to action for City until April 2, when he came off the bench in a 2-0 win over Leicester City.
This term, Bobb has started nine games for City across all competitions but contributed just one assist, which came in the season-opening 4-0 win over Wolves.
At age 22 and with game time paramount ahead of Norway's berth at the 2026 World Cup coupled with Semenyo's mooted arrival, Bobb may be forced to look elsewhere to ensure he is fit and firing ahead of next year's tournament.
Fulham manager Marco Silva is hoping his club avoids a repeat of their summer transfer dealings.
The Cottagers signed four players last summer, three of which arrived on deadline day.
Speaking in November, Silva claimed everyone at the club was on the same page when it came to what is shaping up to be an 'important' window for the club.
"It is not just clear from my side, but everyone in the club, what is necessary and what we are going to try and do in the next window," Silva told Sky Sports.
"Let's see what we can do in the market, because it will be important to act in the window.
"As I mentioned, we are preparing in the present. We have been speaking every single day. Myself, with the CEO of the club, it is clear."
