Fulham are currently leading the race for Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi, who could be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
That’s according to Inter News, who report that Fulham are out in front for the striker at this moment in time.
They explain in an exclusive that Taremi’s departure from Inter Milan is becoming increasingly concrete this summer and according to their information, it is Fulham who are showing a strong interest in the Iranian.
They are keenly interested in the striker, so much so that they are out in front of other potential competition at this moment in time.
In fact, negotiations are at an advanced stage and could be resolved in the coming days when Taremi is expected back in Italy after being stranded in his homeland. He was forced to miss the Club World Cup because of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel.
Inter are happy to let him go, even on a free, just to free up salary space and open up a space in the squad for a player that better suits their needs. Fulham are pushing and the deal could be done quickly as a result.
