Swansea City striker Jason Scotland is reportedly on Fulham manager Roy Hodgson's transfer wish list for the summer, according to The News of the World.

The Trinidad and Tobago striker has once again been impressing in the Championship this season, and has scored 53 goals in 102 league appearances during his spell in South Wales, to where he moved in 2007 after enjoying a similarly impressive period with St Johnstone in Scotland.

This has led to much speculation over the striker's future, with many believing he will make the step up to the Premier League in the summer.

The 30-year-old striker scored against Fulham in their FA Cup clash, netting twice against the Cottagers, and manager Roy Hodgson has reportedly been keeping an eye on the player since the two sides met.

Swansea just missed out on the Championship play-offs this season, and this may persuade Scotland to make the move to the Premier League.

Any deal is likely to cost the Cottagers around £2.5 million, with the Swans desperate to keep hold of their main striker.

Hodgson spent a total of £15 million on strikers last summer, bringing in the experienced Bobby Zamora from West Ham United, and Andy Johnson from Everton, and is now on the lookout for more.

The west Londoners are pushing hard this season for a place in Europe, and are currently occupying the last remaining Europa League position with just two games of the season to go.
