Fulham are interested in signing Norwich City defender Max Aarons this summer according to Football Insider.
The Cottagers want a new right-back for their Premier League return and are drawing up a list of transfer targets.
A Fulham source has told Football Insider that Aarons, 22, figures highly on their wanted list.
The Londoners are also keen on loanee Neco Williams although it remains to be seen if Liverpool will allow him to transfer permanently this summer.
Fulham are making regular checks on Aarons and are ready to offer him the chance to stay in the top flight.
Norwich seem almost certain to lose the right-back this summer if they do, as expected, suffer relegation from the Premier League.
Aarons, who has notched 14 caps for England’s Under-21 side, is contracted until 2024 at Carrow Road.
The defender, who came through the ranks at the Norfolk club, has been on the bench for Norwich in the last four Premier League games.
Signing Aarons would represent a significant coup for Fulham – with his services linked to Man United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
The Cottagers are a hair’s breadth from clinching the Championship title and have already secured automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Williams has impressed since joining Fulham on loan in January – notching two goals and two assists in 15 appearances.
Norwich’s relegation could be confirmed this weekend if results elsewhere go against them.
