Fulham keeper David Stockdale |
|
Leicester City have extended David Stockdale’s loan spell from Fulham until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper initially signed a one-month deal at the start of March after Blackburn recalled Mark Bunn from The Walkers Stadium, and played two games for The Foxes against Stockport and Cheltenham.
However a shoulder injury picked up against Tranmere Rovers has kept him out of action for the past four games, and Nigel Pearson signed Tony Warner on loan from Hull City as a replacement.
Stockdale has now recovered from that injury and will stay at Leicester until the end of the season as cover for Warner, as The Foxes aim to get promotion back to The Championship at the first attempt.
