Sporting Braga, of the I Liga, have announced the signing of Rui Fonte, who returns to the club after three seasons.
29-year-old Rui Fonte returns from Fulham, who last season loaned him to Lille, France's runner-up.
The striker played two seasons at Sporting Braga (2015/16 and 2016/17) but in early 2017/18, left for the London club in August 2017.
Fonte said "It is special to return to Sporting although the opportunity was sooner than I imagined but I am happy not only for myself but also for my family as well, because we have returned to a place where we feel very happy."
The striker promised to give "the maximum in every game trying to best represent the club" and trying to "make as many goals and assists as possible".

The Club can confirm that Rui Fonte has today joined Sporting Clube de Braga on a permanent transfer.
The Portuguese forward spent the most part of last season on loan at Lille Olympique Sporting Club who finished second in Ligue 1.
