Luis Boa Morte

Fulham midfielder Luis Boa Morte is reported as being still unsettled at Craven Cottage. The report goes on to claim that the Portuguese International submitted a transfer request on Monday night.

Presumably if the report, in today's Daily Mirror, is correct someone in Boa Morte's entourage believes that Newcastle Manager Graeme Souness' increasingly desperate search, for a player that can create and score goals, may mean a bigger payday for the player.

Newcastle has failed with offers for a number of players during the summer and a poor start to the season will further limit the number of potential transfer targets willing to sign-up with the Toon Town outfit.

However if Boa Morte is unsettled at Craven Cottage then an anxious Newcastle could provide an interesting contract for a 28-year-old.
