Fulham defender Issa Diop has been named Royal Caribbean Legend of the Match from Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
A late addition to the starting XI after Joachim Andersen was taken ill, Diop stepped up magnificently, not allowing the Spurs attack line a sniff of goal.
The best example was his perfectly timed slide tackle on compatriot Randal Kolo Muani, while he also made a crucial block to divert Yves Bissouma’s first half effort off target.
It was a performance that rightfully garnered praise from his Head Coach Marco Silva after the game, and he duly received almost half (47.4%) of the Legend of the Match vote.
Alex Iwobi was the recipient of the Premier League’s MOTM trophy, and he duly came second in our fan vote with 29.5%, ahead of Oscar Bobb (5.6%) who enjoyed a very impressive full Premier League debut for the Club.
