Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega is raring to go ahead of the trip to his former club Wigan at the weekend.

The Fulham forward returns to the DW Stadium for the first time since quitting the Latics to move to Craven Cottage in the summer.

Rodallega is yet to open his account for his new club, but boss Martin Jol says he's desperate to get the nod ahead of the returning Bryan Ruiz and show his old side what they're missing.

"Of course, he's eager to score against his former club," said Jol.

"I don't tell anyone the line-up before matches but that is the big decision we have to make. It's either Bryan Ruiz or Hugo."

Fellow frontman Mladen Petric and Dimitar Berbatov have hit the ground running for Fulham, with two goals apiece.

Rodallega came close to breaking his duck at West Ham earlier this month, only to be denied by the woodwork.

But Jol revealed the Colombian would not celebrate if he scores on Saturday out of respect for the Wigan faithful.

The Dutchman added: "If he scores goals, it will be very significant because the only thing which will probably be different for him is that he can't celebrate because that is not respectful."
