Fulham defender Richard Stearman is set to sensationally rejoin Wolves.
The defender - sold to Fulham for £2million almost exactly a year ago today - will return to Molineux on a season-long loan deal, it is believed.
The 29-year-old has fallen out of favour at Craven Cottage under Slovisa Jokanovic and with Wolves craving an experienced centre half they have moved to recapture the centre half.
Stearman was controversially sold on September 1 last year.
Almost 6,000 supporters voted in an Express & Star’s online poll on the issue, with 82 per cent saying Stearman should not be sold.
Previous boss Kenny Jackett said Stearman had been sold for footballing reasons, despite the fact he had played every league game in 2015 up to that point.
