Referee Tim Robinson was appointed to the EFL referees list for the start of the 2012/13 season, taking charge of his first game between Southend United and Accrington Stanley. As part of the PGMO development programme Tim represented the PGMOL at the Dallas Cup 2012 and at the Nike Cup in China in 2012. Ref Robinson has been selected as one of the Referee Select Group 2 who will be employed on a full time basis.
Last season Ref Robinson reffed two Fulham games, the first was the
3-1 trouncing of QPR at Loftus Road in February
2016 when he booked Dan Burn and Jamie O'Hara and the second time was the 2-1 home victory over M.K. Dons in April of 2016 when he booked Stearman, Amorebieta, Tunnicliffe and Dembele.
He reffed Burton games twice last season in a 2-0 away defeat at Walsall in October and
then a 1-0 away win at Peterborough
Last Season Ref Robinson reffed 43 games dishing out 149 yellows,
an average of 3.5 cards a game, and a well above average 9 reds.
This season he has reffed
7 games, so far, showing the yellow card 28 times, an average of 4.0 cards per
game, and just one red so far.
In an a League Two game between Portsmouth and Wycombe in January of this year he dished out 9 yellows 7 of them to the visitors!!
