Craig Pawson has been a referee since 1993, working his way up the Football League ladder since the 2008/09 campaign.
The Sheffield & Hallamshire FA referee was placed in the Select Group of Premier League officials from the 2013/14 season. In 2015 Pawson was put on the FIFA International Referees List. Pawson became the seventh referee from England on the list.
Mr Pawson last refed Fulham in January 22021 when we drew 0-0 away at Brighton. He booked two Brighton players and Harrison Reed in 45+1, all for fouls.
In the previous season 2019/2020 Mr Pawson refed Fulham in January 2020 when we beat Aston Villa 2-1 in the Third round of the FA Cup. He booked three players from each team the Fulham players were Kevin McDonald (47,f), Anthony Knockaert (88,f) and Michael Hector (90+7,arg).
In March 2019, season 2018/2019, Mr Pawson refed Fulham when we lost 2-1 at home to Liverpool , he booked Franck Anguissa (65,f) and Joe Bryan (90+2,f) of Fulham and Fabinho (39,f) of Liverpool.
He also refed us earlier in the season in Jan 2018 when Fulham lost 2-1 at home to Tottenham. He booked five players including Aleksandar Mitrovic (74,arg) and Jean Seri (75,f).
Prior to the Tottenham game Mr Pawson last refed Fulham in Dec 2018 when we played Fulham Broadway Mr Pawson booked three players including Denis Odoi (54,f).
Mr Pawson first refed a Fulham game in the 2-1 Premier League home defeat by Cardiff in September 2013, Bryan Ruiz scored Fulham's goal. He booked one player from each team the Fulham player was Dimitar Berbatov
The last occasion Mr Pawson refed Arsenal was in their 2-1 away defeat at Wolves, in February 2021, and he booked three Wolves players, two arsenal players, Partey and Xhaka and also sent off Arsenal's Luiz at half time and then sent off Arsenal's Keeper Leno in the 72nd minute for handling the ball outside his area.
Last season, 2019/2020, he refed 34 games and dished out 139 yellows and 3 reds, so 4.0 yellows per game. This season so far it is 26 games 96 yellows and 5 reds so a lower average of 3.7 yellow cards per game
His busiest game recently was the Arsenal versus Wolves game noted above.
