Referee Peter Bankes, who began refereeing in Liverpool in 1996, aged 14. was appointed as a full time Select Group 2 referee in 2016 after becoming a National Group referee in 2014.
Tuesday's game against Leeds will be Ref Peter Bankes' third Fulham game this season.
He refed, the 2-0 home win against Wolves on 24th February, when he booked Matt Targett and two Wolves players, and the 2-1 away win at QPR at the end of September when he booked thre players from each team, the Fulham players were Norwood (63,f), Fredericks (64,d), Button (87,tw).
He has reffed Leeds three times this season, so far, a 4-1 home win against Port Vale in the League Cup, a 2-0 home win against Birmingham and a 1-1 home draw with Aston Villa.
Last season he refed 38 games and dished out 127 yellows and 12 reds, so an average 3.4 yellows per game and a joint top tally of 12 reds.
So far this season he has dished out 121 yellows and 8 reds in 35 games, so an average of 3.5 yellows a game and a joint second highest number of reds
Mr Bankes has calmed down this season with his highest tally being the seven yellows in the Ipswich 2-0 win over Reading in December. Last season he had two games when he issued ten cards, one of eight cards and two of seven cards!!
