Referee Andrew Madley, 39, took up the whistle in 2002 at the age of 18 after an injury playing at Huddersfield Town academy. He started out in his local divisions and began to progress through the supply lines from 2004 before becoming a Premier League linesman in 2009.

He has been a referee, on the Football League National Referee List, since the opening day of the 2011-12 season. In summer 2016 Ref Madley became part of the Select Group 2 for full time Football League referees. In June 2019, Madley was promoted to the Select Group 1 Referees list which will see him referee in the Premier League.

The last time Mr Madley refed Fulham was on the 11th February 2023 when we beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at The Cottage, he only booked one player and he was from the Forest squad. Willian and Manor Solomon, his first goal for Fulham, scored the Fulham goals.

Mr Madley also refed Fulhamon on the 26th December 2022 when we crushed Crystal Palace 3-0 away. Mr Madley sent off two Palace players, one in the 34th minute and the other in the 57th minute with a second yellow car. Fulham's goal scorers were Bobby Decordova-Reid, Tim Ream and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Our first game of the season in August 2022 when we drew 2-2 at home to Liverpool also gave Mr Madley the pleasure of refing a Fulham game. He booked two player, both from Fulham, Kenny Tete for a foul and Bobby De Cordova-Reid for arguing. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored both Fulham goals.

Mr Madley previously refed Fulham in April 2021 when we lost 3-1 away at Aston Villa in the Premier League. He booked three players, two were from Fulham, Joachim Andersen and Bobby Decordova-Reid both for fouls

Earlier in the season in February 2021 Ref Madly bossed Fulham's 2-0 away win at Everton. He booked one player from each side, the Fulham player was Josh Onomah who was booked for dissent in the 96th minute.

A month earlier, in January, Mr Madley refed the game when we lost to Burnley in the FA Cup 4th Round. He booked two players from each team, Aleksandar Mitrovic for a foul and Aboubakar Kamara for arguing, from Fulham.

In November 2020 Mr Madley refed us when we suffered a 2-3 home defeat by Everton. He booked two players both Fulham players, Bobby De Cordova-Reid for dissent and Antonee Robinson for a foul.

Last season, 2019/2020, Mr Madley bossed a Fulham game in February 2020 when we drew 1-1 away at Millwall. Millwall's goal was clearly offside but Mr Madley granted it anyway. He booked three players, two from Fulham, Tom Cairney and Harry Arter both for fouls

Two seasons previously, 2016/2017, in April 2017 Mr Madley was the referee when we won 3-1 away at Norwich. He booked four Norwich players, three Fulham players and in addition sent off Chris Martin in the 45th minute.

Earlier in the season, 4th February 2017, Mr Madley also refed us in our 1-0 away defeat at Birmingham. He yellow carded five players, including Kevin McDonald and Sone Aluko both for fouls, and sent off Ryan Fredericks in the 68th minute for a bad foul.

Prior to the Birmingham game Mr Madley refed Fulham in October 2016 in another trip to the Midlands this time it was to Aston Villa and we also lost 1-0. He booked four Fulham players Piazon(45,f), McDonald (72,f), Martin (83,f), Madl (90,f) and no Aston Villa players despite Villa players fouling Fulham players 15 times while Fulham players fouled Villa players 11 times.

The first Fulham game Mr Madley ever bossed was in August 2013 when Fulham drew 2-2 away at Burton in the Capital One Cup.

Crystal Palace were last refed by Mr Madley in October 2022 when they drew 0-0 away at Leicestyer City, he booked two players from each team.
