Referee Darren Bond took up the whistle at 15 and has now progressed to the Select Group 2 referees list, armed with 20 years of refereeing experience, including a year as an assistant referee in the Premier League.
The last time Mr Bond bossed a Fulham game was when we drew 1-1 away at Derby in February 2020. He booked one player, Harry Arter, for a foul. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored Fulham's goal by keeping his balance and turning a Denis Odoi cross home on the half-volley.
Earlier in the same season, 2019/2020, Mr Bond refed the 4-0 home win over Millwall in August 2019. He booked three players, two of them from Fulham, Mitrovic for arguing with Millwall's Cooper who also got booked and Knockaert for dissent.
Last season 2018/2019 Mr Bondrefed us in the 3-1 away victory over Millwall in the League Cup in September 2018. Mr Bond had a quiet evening keeping his cards in his pocket.
Mr Bond has refed Fulham eight times in the last few of seasons and six game have ended in a draw, including the 4-4 away draw at Wolves in December 2016 and then the 1-1 home draw with Derby in November 2017. He booked one player, Fulham's
DenisOdoi, for a foul.
Leicester City last had the pleasure of Mr Bond's company in November 2022 when they won 3-0 at home to Newport County in the League Cup. He had a quiet evening and kept his cards in his pocket.
Last Season Ref Bond bossed 17 games dishing out 64 yellows, an average of 3.8 cards a game, with 2 reds.
His busiest game recently was the Sunderland vrs Blackburn game, on Boxing Day 2022, when he yellow carded eleven players, three Sunderland players and five Blackburn players.
