Referee Darren Bond took up the whistle at 15 and has now progressed to the Select Group 2 referees list, armed with 20 years of refereeing experience, including a year as an assistant referee in the Premier League.

The last time Mr Bond bossed a Fulham game was when we won 1-0 away at Leicester City in January 2023. Mr Bond booked six Fulham players, Adarabioyo (52,tw), Palhinha (60,f), Cairney (62,f), Tete (68,f), Mitrovic (78,f), Leno (96,tw), and two Leicester players. Aleksandar Mitrovic was the scorer of the only goal with a left footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Willian with a through ball.

Prior to the Leicester game Mr Bond refed Fulham when they drew 1-1 away at Derby in February 2020. He booked one player, Harry Arter, for a foul. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored Fulham's goal by keeping his balance and turning a Denis Odoi cross home on the half-volley.

Earlier in the same season, 2019/2020, Mr Bond refed the 4-0 home win over Millwall in August 2019. He booked three players, two of them from Fulham, Mitrovic for arguing with Millwall's Cooper who also got booked and Knockaert for dissent.

In the previous season 2018/2019 Mr Bond refed us in the 3-1 away victory over Millwall in the League Cup in September 2018. Mr Bond had a quiet evening keeping his cards in his pocket.

Brentford last had the pleasure of Mr Bond's company in March 2023 when they drew 1-1 at home to Leicester City. He booked two players from each side and gave one of the Brentford players a second yellow in the 90th minute.

Last Season Ref Bond bossed 37 games dishing out 155 yellows, an average of 4.2 cards a game, and 4 reds.

His busiest game recently was the Sheffield United vrs Hull in January 2023 when he booked eight players, six of them from United. He followed up by giving a Hull player a red card in the 90th minute.
