Claudio Ranieri admits he is "always happy to come back to London," as Roma take on Fulham in the Europa League.

"I know the Fulham fans will consider this something of a derby, as they see me as a former Chelsea man, but I am always happy to come back to London," said the Coach.

"I hope to see a great Roma quite aside from my personal rapport with England. Fulham are set to be combative, even without their captain Murphy.

"I saw several of their matches and they play good football, always keeping tight. It's sure to be a very tactical game."

Francesco Totti is still out of action with a knee injury and is even considering surgery to correct the problem.

"Totti didn't even make the trip with us. We are evaluating the situation. He is an important player for Roma, but we must look forward and do well even without him."

That didn't quite materialise at the weekend, although Ranieri blamed the 2-1 defeat at Milan on refereeing decisions.

"The club did well to complain and push to protect itself. Now we have said what needed saying and must respond on the field of play. We can't keep thinking about the referees, but rather focus on ourselves.

"We are a good side and have to prove that in every single game. It would be terrible if we let the bitterness from the Milan defeat affect us now.

"Referees can make mistakes, but I don't like a side that acts the victim. If other teams are better, we accept the result."
