40-year-old ref Anthony Taylor started refereeing in the Northern Premier League in 2002,[2] progressing to officiate in the Conference North in 2004. He was appointed to the Football League referees' list at the start of the 2006–07 season

His first Premiership game was the Fulham 1-0 win over Portsmouth in February 2010, the year we played in the Europa League Final.

The last time Mr Taylor refed a Fulham game was during the Play Off Final when Fulham beat Aston Villa 1-0. As we know he sent Denis Odoi off for two yellow cards given for fouls. Mr Taylor also four Villa players and also Kamara for disent.

Mr Taylor bossed Tottenham four times last season, three times in the Premiership and once in the FA Cup. Tottenham won once, 1-0 at home to Arsenal. He dished out 19 yellows in the four games, 11 to Tottenham, with Dier getting four of them.

Last season he refed 40 games and dished out 147 yellows and 5 reds, so a slightly above average 3.7 yellows per game.
