Lucas Piazon claims he is close to agreeing an extended deal with Fulham.
The Chelsea forward joined Fulham on a short-term loan on transfer deadline day.
The 22-year-old was due back at Chelsea this month but now claims he is set to stay at Craven Cottage.
Asked by a fan on Twitter if he would extend his loan deal, Piazon replied: "Almost done mate, hope to be done asap."
Piazon has scored four goals in 15 appearances for Fulham so far this season.
It is unclear as of yet whether he will sign an extended loan deal or agree to move on a permanent basis.
The Brazilian has made three senior appearances for Chelsea to date and has had five separate loan spells.
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic recently hailed the young attacker.
He said: "Piazon has started to be a very important player for us. He is very fast and has experience playing in this competition.
“He played 23 games for Reading last season, so he didn't need a lot of time to adapt himself. We are happy with what he has offered in the last few games."
