Fulham midfielder and former Welsh international Paul "Trolls" Trollope has been allowed to join 1st Division Coventry City on a free transfer.

Paul joined Fulham from Derby in November 1997 for £650, 000 and featured in Fulham winning the 1998 - 1999 Division 2 championship

"Trolls" has failed to feature for Fulham this season and his future at The Cottagers looks uncertain.

Stoke had hoped to sign the 29-year-old on loan, but Fulham were reported to have blocked the move.

The Welsh international is thought to be keen on a move for regular first-team football to get his career back on track.

Sky Blues boss Roland Nilsson will hope that Trollope will help boost their promotion push and Paul has signed in time to make his debut in this weekend's big game with Birmingham City.
