Referee Oliver Langford has been a League referee since August 2008 prior to which he reffed in the Blue Sq Premier.
He has refereed over 200 EFL matches and has taken charge of many high profile games, including several play-off semi-finals. In summer of 2016 he became part of the Select Group 2 of fulltime Championship referees.
Ref Langford last refed Fulham in September 2017 when we drew 1-1 at home to Middlesbrough
and he booked three players, two from Fulham, McDonald and Fonte both for fouls.
On Boxing Day 2016 Ref Langford bossed Fulham when we beat Ipswich 2-0 at Portman Road. Mr Langford's cards had a relatively quiet game with only a card for two Ipswich players and McDonald of Fulhan, for a foul, despite a total of 25 fouls during the whole game.
Just three weeks previously he bossed the Reading game at The Cottage in the crushing of Reading 5-0. Mr Langford took a strong dislike to Reading yellow carding five players, four from Reading, and red carding another Reading player for kicking out at Stefan Johansen.
Ref Langford reffed Fulham once in the 2015/2016 season finale 1-0 victory against Bolton in which no one was yellow or red carded.
Brentford were last bossed by Ref Langford in October of this year when they drew 1-1 at home to Bristol City. Mr Langford yellow carded one player from each side.
This season he has refed 16 games and waved his yellow card 57 times and has dished out two red cards.
Last season Ref Langford was in charge of 36 games and gave out 108 yellows, a below average of 3.0 yellows per game, and 6 reds.
His busiest game recenrly was the Millwall 1-1 draw with Hull game in August this year when he dished out 7 yellows, 5 to the visitors and two to the home side and a second yellow/red to a visiting player.
