Nancy have confirmed they have accepted three offers from English clubs for Marc-Antoine Fortune, a development that appears to have left Celtic out in the cold.
The Bhoys are on the trail of the striker who impressed during a loan spell at West Brom, but it seems he could be heading back to The Premier League.
Hull have confirmed they are talking to Nancy, while Portsmouth, Wolves and Fulham have been credited with an interest and the French side have been inundated with offers.
Nancy sporting director Nicolas Holveck said: "We have accepted three separate offers, all from English clubs.
"All are in excess of €4 million and, with add-ons, one is approaching the €5 million mark.
"We are happy to allow the player to begin negotiations with these clubs and we expect the transfer to be formalised by Monday.
"It's still possible he could move to Celtic but they have yet to make an acceptable offer."
