Fulham produced their first goalless game of the Championship - and how vital that point might be come the end of the season.

A game of few chances produced the best chances for Whites in the first half, and just for a moment Hugo Rodallega thought he had won it for the visitors.

His crash into the net from a rebound sent Fulham fans into raptures behind the goal only for the assistant's flag to kill the joy a second later with the effort presumably ruled out for offside.

Michael Tonge for the Lions was inches wide with a deflected volley earlier, and Lee Gregory was at full stretch to connect with a cross in the first half, but couldn't get enough on it - thankfully.

Alex Kacaniklic had the best chances of a largely sterile first 45 minutes. He connected first time but weakly with Lasse Christensen's cross after the winger's powerful run, and then hit the back stanchion from the side of the net that from Fulham fans' point of view looked as if it had gone in.

Ross McCormack tried his luck but fired straight at Lions keeper David Forde. It said something for Whites defence to shut out a side desperate to get out of the relegation places - but Fulham are still only five points away from being dragged into the final three.
