Fulham’s chief football officer, Mike Rigg, is facing an uncertain future, ahead of a review into the club's season.

Rigg has overseen a nightmare campaign in which Fulham finished the season in 20th place, 11 points above the relegation zone.

The former Football Association's head of talent management was appointed in March last year but has overseen a £7 million summer spending spree which has yielded little improvement on the field.

Rigg was also criticised over Fulham's 49-day search for a new manager after the dismissal of Kit Symons, eventually appointing Slavisa Jokanovic despite talks with Nigel Pearson, Steve Clarke and Gary Rowett.

Fulham are conducting an extensive investigation into the season and Rigg’s position could be under threat.
