Matchday Referee: Dermot
Gallagher from Banbury.
Mr Gallagher takes charge of his 12th Premiership match of the campaign
at the Riverside on Tuesday. The Banbury referee is yet to visit the ground
this season, in an official capacity at any rate, although he did marshal
Boro's trip to Anfield earlier in the campaign. He also took charge of Fulham's
recent match against Manchester United so he will be well known to both
teams.
Of his 28 yellows 60% have been given to visiting players and in nearly
half his games only visiting players have been cautioned!
Middlesbrough have 4 players that have been red carded this season
