Fulham are mulling over a move to make Hull City manager Steve Bruce their next manager, according to the Sun.

Kit Symons was appointed as Fulham boss last season after Felix Magath was sacked, with the club looking like it was falling towards relegation. He managed to help them out of the mire and into lower midtable.

But after a summer of heavy spending to help the Whites back up to the Premier League, his side only sit in thirteenth, with three wins, three draws and four defeats from their opening ten games.

This means he's coming under pressure from the Craven Cottage board to start pulling out results, or he may lose his job.

Two of their next three games are against Middlesbrough and Reading, two teams who occupy two of the top three spots in the division, so the Fulham boss may find it difficult to pick up those much-needed victories.

One of the contenders for his position is Hull City manager Bruce, who lead the Tigers to the Premier League in 2013, but was unable to save them from relegation two years later.

He was linked with the job in February, but could have to make a choice between his fifth placed Hull side, or a bloated contract in London.

Whether Bruce wants to leave a genuine promotion contender in Hull very much remains to be seen.
