Fulham striker Ross McCormack is close to agreeing an improved extended contract at Fulham, Sky sources understand.
The 29-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to Middlesbrough this transfer window and did not play in Fulham's last league fixture - a 1-0 home defeat to Hull.
It is understood he will pen a new and improved deal on Monday, before the 11pm transfer deadline.
The former Cardiff and Leeds forward handed in a transfer request earlier this week which was rejected by Fulham.
