Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic believes Fulham wonderkid Matt O'Riley could soon be part of the matchday squad as he continues to impress whilst training with the first team.
The 17-year-old signed his first professional contract at his boyhood club on his 17th birthday , putting pen-to-paper on a deal that will see him stay at the Cottage until 2020.
O'Riley made his first team debut for the club in the 2-0 win over Wycombe in the Carabao Cup in August and has impressed the first team management this season, especially in the behind-closed-doors friendlies with Southampton where he ran the show.
He regularly trains with Fulham's first team, along with other U23 team members such as Tayo Edun, Mattias Kait, Steven Sessegnon and Luca de la Torre, who have all been involved with matchday squads, while also travelling with the side as part of the matchday group to first team games.
The future is bright for the youngster, and Jokanovic has revealed O'Riley is fighting to be in the first team matchday squad and could soon feature for Fulham.
