last updated Friday 04th March 2005, 11:42 AM
Big match facts from BBCSport FULHAM and Charlton lock League horns for the 50th time. The Cottagers may have fears of being sucked into the relegation picture and Charlton dreaming of European football for the first time ever, but honours are even in the League head-to-head at 17 wins a piece with 15 drawn.
  • Chris Coleman's side lie three places and eight points clear of trouble despite losing their last two top division encounters (both away). They've also lost six home games in this League campaign. In addition, they've won two and lost six of their eight London Premiership derbies this season, and are in danger of suffering a double of derby defeats after losing at Spurs last weekend. The Cottagers are on their lowest ever points tally to this stage in a Premiership season, but are hoping to extend an undefeated run in League and Cup games at home to six.
  • Fulham hold an unbeaten home Premiership record over Charlton and are hoping to complete a third straight victory over them on home soil. Last season Steed Malbranque fired Fulham in front from the penalty spot and Sean Davis slammed home a sensational volley.
  • Lost the last two - both away - against Bolton (1-0 FAC) and Tottenham (2-0 PL).
  • Won one of the last six League and Cup games (4-2 home to Derby after extra time in the FA Cup).
  • Lost the last two Premiership matches (v Liverpool a, and Tottenham a).
  • Won all five Premiership clashes in which clean sheets have been kept.
  • Lost all eight top tier encounters in which failed to score.
  • Drawn five times in the uppermost League. Only Liverpool have finished level less often (four matches).
  • Lost 14 games in the highest echelon. Only Crystal Palace have lost more (15).
  • Played 31 Premiership matches since a no score draw.
  • Conceded more penalties than any other club in Premiership matches this season (six).
  • Undefeated in five home games in all competitions.
  • Won four and drawn one League and Cup matches at the Cottage since losing by the odd goal in five to
  • Birmingham in the Premiership on 28 December.
  • Lost six home highest League duels. Only Crystal Palace have lost more (seven).
  • Conceded 21 top flight goals at Craven Cottage. Only Norwich have shipped more home goals in the highest division (28).
  • Luis BOA MORTE is one goal shy of 50 goals for English clubs (four for Arsenal, one for Southampton and 44 for Fulham).
  • If on the field at kick off, Carlos BOCANEGRA will be making his 50th start for Fulham. .
CHARLTON ATHLETIC cross the Thames looking for a first win in five in all competitions. This is the Addicks third away League game on the trot - the last two in the north east at Newcastle and Middlesbrough were both drawn.
  • Alan Curbishley's club have won three and lost three London Premiership derbies this season. They've lost six times away from home in the top division this term. Another defeat would be their 50th on the road all time in the Premier League, and 400th in their top flight history.
  • Athletic last posted a League win at Fulham on 22 April 1986, when they won 0-3 in the old Second Division. It was also the last time the Addicks did the 'double' over Fulham. They could do it again this season, having won the reverse fixture 2-1 when goals by winger Jerome Thomas and defender Talal El Karkouri sealed a victory that was enough to see Charlton climb into the top seven. But the club from the Valley have not won a top flight game at Fulham since a 1-3 triumph on 23 August 1950.
