Bolton's
Elliott confronts Luis Boa Morte |
|
Fulham striker Luis Boa Morte has appealed
against his FA misconduct charge.
He claims that he did not spit at Bolton midfielder Robbie Elliott following
a potentially bone breaking tackle by Elliott.
The Portuguese international is serving a three-match ban following a red
card on 4 March and he faces further suspension after being charged with
misconduct over allegations of spitting at Elliott as he went off.
Elliott was let off with just a yellow card for the fearsome tackle launched
at Boa Morte's shin.
The League must look at the whole incident, presumably SKY would be happy
to supply the film, to ensure that Elliott is treated in a similar manner
to Boa Morte.
