Fulham's Luis Boa Morte, charged with improper conduct (breach of FA Rule E1), will have his FA disciplinary hearing on the 17 March.
Boa Morte was charged with making offensive gestures to Everton fans during the match at Loftus Road on 10th January 2004.
Fulham won the Premiership game 2-1 at Craven Cottage.
Everton supporters were reported to the FA for throwing a lighter and programmes at Boa Morte during the match but a police spokesman said the player could have incited the fans' reaction by allegedly making obscene gestures towards them.
It is understood the police considered charging Boa Morte, but will leave the matter with the FA.
